Lung Hsing Frozen Food Factory was established in 1973 by Mr. Chow Tien Tsai and Ms. Chow Chan Fong Chiang. Given the impending boom in deep-sea fishing after the opening of the Qianzhen Fishing Port and the fact that the two existing frozen food factories in the city, Hsin Hsing and Li Hsing, were no longer sufficient, land was purchased in the coastal industrial zone near Qianzhen Fishing Port and close to the container terminal (near the end of the highway) at the end of 1973. Construction of the factory began in the same year, and the first phase of construction was completed in 1975, at which point Lung Hsing Frozen Food Factory Co., Ltd. officially began operations.
